May School Holidays & Nullspace Anniversary 2020

12 Years of Technology Education

Wow! What a journey it has been over the past year. We organised the IDE Series 2019 competition at F1 pit building for the first time, we got interviewed by CNA, and we moved into our brand new C4RL-WEST location at Rochester Mall. Not everything has been smooth sailing so far. The past month we had our trainings suspended because of COVID-19, and we had to quickly modify our classes into online home-based learning format. Even amidst the challenging times our team managed to learn how to do video live streams to engage parents on some free and interesting activities they can do at home!

Today, 22 April 2020, marks our 12th Anniversary since we first banded together as a group of friends to start Nullspace. It’s been a long journey but we are glad to have your support along the way. THANK YOU!

From the Nullspace Team

May School Holidays Schedule

As announced by MOE, the mid year school holidays will be brought forward to 5 May – 1 June 2020. We have also decided to bring forward our school holiday programmes to support learning at home. The following classes will be conducted in an online home-based learning format via video conferencing. It will be kept to a maximum of 3 students per instructor to allow for more personalised instruction and guidance (check out our HBL guidelines).

LEGO Mindstorms EV3 Virtual Robotics Toolkit (VRT) – Mission Pack

Our VRT Mission Pack was created to provide kids with an opportunity to practice their EV3 programming activity at home during the circuit breaker period. We have created 9 progressive missions and their associated virtual playfields using the Virtual Robotics Toolkit software. Using the same LEGO Mindstorms EV3 software, you can program your virtual robot to follow your commands! Challenge our 9 mission VRT Mission Pack this school holiday season.

Stuck on a mission? No worry! Each Mission Pack purchase comes with two 30 mins EV3 VRT Online Training consultation sessions. Our instructors will be at hand to provide guidance and troubleshooting help, Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 6.30pm!
