Should you have any enquiries, do not hesitate to reach out to us via WhatsApp (+65 9855 4017) or email (c4rl@nullspace.com.sg).

Our WhatsApp hotline is manned by our centre manager from 10am to 6pm on Tuesday to Friday, and from 9am to 1pm on Saturday.

More information available at our Contact Us page.

Do you offer any free trials?

We do not offer any free trials but interested students are welcome to visit our centres and observe how our classes are being conducted. New students are generally encouraged to attend at least 4 sessions of our courses (i.e. introductory level) for a better assessment of their abilities and interests, and to have a better understanding of what will be covered in the programme.

Do you conduct birthday parties or other corporate events?

Yes, you may contact us with your requirements so that our team can put together a specially-customised program to suit your needs.

What is the difference between the weekly term classes and holiday classes?

The lesson curriculum for the weekly term classes and holiday classes are the same. The main difference is in the delivery format of the sessions. Weekly term classes are held on a weekly basis (once a week), whereas our holiday programmes are held consecutively over 4 days (Monday to Thursday).

What is the instructor to student ratio?

We strive to maintain a small instructor to student ratio to provide your child with the best learning experience.

  • STEM Little Explorer Programme – 1:4 Instructor to Student Ratio
  • Robotics Certificate Programme – 1:4 Instructor to Student Ratio
  • Inventor Certificate Programme – 1:5 Instructor to Student Ratio
  • Data Analyst Certificate Programme – 1:5 Instructor to Student Ratio

Does my child need to have any prior Robotics or Coding experience to attend the classes?

No. We welcome all kids – with or without prior experience – to join our programmes and be introduced to the world of Robotics & Coding. Our curriculum is designed to be progressive, such that students with no background experience can join from the introductory levels of each course, and progress their way to intermediate and advanced levels of the courses upon passing an assessment at the end of each level.

What does my kid need to bring on the first lesson?

  • Writing Materials
  • Water Bottle
  • Jacket (in case the air conditioning is too strong)
  • Light Snacks (we provide our students with oreo’s as part of their snack breaks but feel free to bring your own!)

Apart from the items listed above, we will provide our students with the necessary equipment and lesson materials for our classes.

Are we allowed to bring home the robots built at the end of each course?

In general, the robotics kit and laptops provided during the classes are not allowed to be brought home unless stated otherwise. For the Inventor Certificate Programme (Arduino Microcontroller), each student will be given their own Arduino Starter Kit (worth $49.90) on their first arduino lesson. They will be required to bring and use their own kit for subsequent lessons and courses.

Will there be a break time given during the classes?

Generally, we provide our students with a 10-15 minute break during the midway point of the session. We provide our students with light snacks (oreos) and packet drinks (e.g. apple juice, ice lemon tea) during the breaks. Should your kid have any dietary preferences, you are strongly encouraged to pack your own snacks for him/her.

What are the course fees like?

Our fees range from $336 to $420 for an 8-10 hour programme. For greater savings, you may purchase a course package that can be shared used between 2 or more students concurrently and have a validity period of 2 years from the date of purchase. For more information, please visit our Course Package & Pricing page.

How do I know if my class is confirmed?

We require full payment of course fees to confirm class registration. You should receive a confirmation email after you have successfully registered for a class.

Cancellation / Rescheduling Policy

Do note that any class cancellation / rescheduling must be done at least 72 hours in advance or the course credit will be forfeited.

Allowances for last minute cancellations/changes are possible for medical reasons with a valid medical certificate (MC). Do inform us at least an hour prior to the commencement of the session via our whatsapp or email.

Personal reasons are not accepted for refunds or make-up lesson requests. Refunds will be made in course credits for booking for future courses.

Make-Up Policy

Make-up sessions are subjected to the availability and timings of other classes. A student who wishes to attend a make-up lesson must first contact our centre staff so that arrangements to attend a make-up lesson can be made for him/her. The final decision for the make-up session will be decided upon by Nullspace.

My child has prior experience doing Robotics before, can we skip levels?

Students with prior experience with LEGO® Robotics (MINDSTORMS® EV3 / LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime), who wish to join our Robotics Certificate Programme, can sit for our Generic Proficiency Test to gauge their current skill level. This enables us to better slot them in at a suitable level, so that they will not miss crucial robotic skills.

The Generic Proficiency Test is carried out in an open book format, and students may bring along any notes or materials that they might have. The Generic Proficiency Test costs $50 to administer, and covers theory, programming, and hands-on robot construction. For students who enrol in the Robotics Certificate Programme thereafter will receive a $50 rebate

Do you issue certificates at the end of each course?

We do not issue certificates upon completion of each coursework.

Certificates will only be issued for the following certificate programmes:

  • Robotics Certificate Programme (LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime)
  • Game Developer Certificate Programme (Scratch)
  • Data Analyst Certificate Programme (Python)
  • Inventor Certificate Programme (Arduino Microcontroller)

upon passing the proficiency test scheduled at the end of the respective course levels (e.g. at the end of Beginner 2, Intermediate 2, Advanced 2 for the Robotics Certificate Programme).

What happens if my child fails the proficiency test?

In the event students do not pass the Course Proficiency Test, our instructors will determine the components which your child needs help with and will recommend a suitable next course of action on a case-by-case basis. Your child may be recommended to attend a re-course or attend additional lessons for more practice before attempting the test again. The Course Proficiency Test is non-chargeable.
